The Works ATL “W” Sculpture is my first sculptural public-art piece: a large-scale steel “W” landmark installed into a massive granite base at The Works ATL in Atlanta. I finished the surface in a deep black base coat, then layered in hand-lettered text pulled from Southern dialect, wrapping the form with language, rhythm, and local voice. From a distance it reads as a bold icon; up close it becomes a dense typographic narrative.
