---------------------------------------------------------------------------- IN A LETTER TO VP SANDOVAL: October 21, 2008 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- You are a Great American! How could I sum this up mo' better... Heres basically how this batlle wil go down... So when you are walking toward the gallery you see what almost looks like a candidates headquarters type political propoganda. Baloons, hype, as much as we can afford.. Then when you walk in the gallery, there will be two self portraits on each side of the wall of Michi and myself - in front of them will be tables with buttons, flyers and campaign goodies. From there you will flow into the actual painting battles. The show is politically labeled. and a distinct battle will take place. It will end up being an art show . We are hanging the main walls with one of my paintings and one of his paintings. Each section will have one of his -vs- one of mine. You decide. There will be a large ballot box that you will tare the postcard and put in whomever you think won the show. Democracy 101. Then there will be a LIVE debate, where Michi and I are gonna be on a lift, elevated above doing a large LIVE painting, that the voting public can take part in - giving their opinions by placing their comments into an installation of mailboxes on the back wall. Put your comment in, and we work it into the LIVE debate painting. We will also have a few TINDELMICHI paintings that should be hilarious old school style. Hoping to have good prices and the freshest artwork. The awesome ladies that run the The Art Department are gonna have alcoholic shots made for each candidate - apple pie shot= tindel, blueberry pie shot= MICHI. I think we are going to be serving, big ass slices of apple pie. Think Peroni will have some free beer for a bit. MICHI and I will curate what type of music will be playing. DJ HOT FAT. I am basically going to win because my paintings will beat his. I believe that this is his stance also. VOTE |
